Happy 5 Months

I am a little late, but better late than never right?

Happy 5 months to our sweet Cason!  You turned 5 months old on January 20, which was 1 year and 1 day since the first time we heard your heart beat!  I am continuously overwhelmed by how in love I am with you.  You are such a good baby and you are very easy going.  In fact, you're such a good baby that we were comfortable enough to take you to Three Forks with us for Mommy's birthday dinner.  We went really early though. :)

You are now reaching out to hold anything you can get your hands on. You've discovered your feet and think they're pretty fun too!

You can now sit in your stroller without the car seat attachment … only after mommy spent several minutes learning how to adjust the straps for you. 

You LOVE eating!  So far you’ve tried avocados, applesauce, sweet potatoes, bananas, and pears.  I think your favorite was the applesauce and pears.

Shortly before turning 5 months old, you attended your first wedding!  Mommy's best friend, Jessica, got married.  You slept through the whole ceremony, but we were thankful for that because you were quiet. 

Mommy and Daddy love you more than words can express.  We can't wait to see what you'll learn over the next month.
